Replace pxd_YOUR_KEY with a key from your dashboard. The response body is the file.

Three ways in: A saved template, your own HTML, or a public URL.
A stable field contract: Templates declare their fields; unknown keys are refused, not dropped.
Single or batch: One call per document, or a batch with signed webhooks.
Refunds on failure: A render that fails after being charged is refunded.

Questions

Where do templates come from?

Start from one in the Documents library, write HTML with Liquid placeholders, or have the AI draft one from a description. You publish it, then render it by id.

Can I call it from a no-code tool?

Yes — use the public n8n node. The Zapier and Make apps are private and call the same render API.

Can someone help us set it up?

Yes. Send us a real document and we will walk through how it maps to a template.

Is it free?

Yes. PixlDocs is free for 1 year from 3 October 2026 while we work with early users. You can try a real example with no account; a free account starts with 100 credits, and you can ask us for more free credits when you run out.
