Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PixlDocs at pixldocs.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PixlDocs is a document generation service. You build a template — invoices, receipts, payslips, statements, certificates, tickets, labels and similar business documents — and then render it to PDF or PNG on demand through the REST API, the MCP server, or the in-app request console. Rendering consumes credits from your plan. PixlDocs offers a free tier and paid Pro and Business plans that raise credit allowances, rate limits, and retention.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create using PixlDocs. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service.

You agree not to upload or create content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Intellectual Property

• PixlDocs templates, designs, code, and branding are owned by PixlDocs and protected by intellectual property laws.
• Documents you render from your own templates and data are yours, and may be used for personal and commercial purposes.
• Templates published by PixlDocs may be used and modified inside your account on any plan; you may not redistribute or resell them as templates.
• API keys are issued to your account. You are responsible for keeping them secret and for all rendering billed against them.

6. Payments & Refunds

Certain templates, features, and subscription plans require payment. All payments are processed by Razorpay Software Pvt Ltd. Applicable taxes are collected at checkout in accordance with Indian tax law.

Pro and Business subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your Account Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape or crawl the website, or automate the browser-based app. This does not restrict the documented REST API and MCP server, which are meant to be called by your own software using your own API key, within your plan's rate limits.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PixlDocs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
