Questions

Which fields does an invoice template accept?

Each template declares its fields. GET /v1/templates/:id/fields returns them, and unknown keys are refused with 400 unknown_fields rather than silently dropped.

Can I use my own invoice design?

Yes. Write it in HTML and Liquid, or duplicate a library invoice and edit it in your workspace.

Can I send thousands at once?

Yes, through the batch renders endpoint, with signed webhooks when each finishes.

Can I connect it without code?

The public n8n node calls the same API. The Zapier and Make apps are private.

Is it free?

Yes. PixlDocs is free for 1 year from 3 October 2026 while we work with early users. You can try a real example with no account; a free account starts with 100 credits, and you can ask us for more free credits when you run out.
