Repeatable sections

Lists, tables, and nested data.

A list turns one frame into repeating entries — perfect for resume experience items, invoice line items, employee cards, and menus. You design one entry, PixlDocs multiplies it, and every entry after the first pushes the content below it down. Nothing overlaps.

Building a list

  • Design a single entry (text, images, whatever). Group the layers into a frame.
  • In the right panel, choose Repeat as list. If the frame isn't inside a Column yet, PixlDocs wraps it in one automatically so entries can push following content down.
  • Optionally connect it to a saved form (so the fill page shows "Add entry" controls), and set min/max entries.
  • Inside the entry, bind each element to the entry's fields (description, qty…).

  "data": {
    "lineItems": [
      { "description": "Design retainer", "qty": 1, "unit_price": 1000 },
      { "description": "Print run",       "qty": 5, "unit_price":   50 },
      { "description": "Shipping",        "qty": 1, "unit_price":  120 }
    ]
  }
}

Overflow & pagination

In vertical-stack layouts, a long array flows onto additional pages automatically. Headers, footers, and page backgrounds carry across pages, and the last page renders totals rows if you added them.

Nested lists

Lists can nest one level deep — for example an invoice with categories, and each category with its own rows.

Empty arrays
If you pass an empty array, the section is skipped entirely and following content flows up. Use a placeholder text layer at the group level to render a friendly "No items" message.
